Job summary

Advantage Behavioral Health Systems seeks an Access Clinician to perform clinical assessments, risk determinations, and psychotherapy for individuals experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity. Services are provided at the Advantage Homeless Day Service Center and at a community-based office space with Athens Housing Authority.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Community Counseling required.
• Active LPC, LCSW, or PsyD in Georgia preferred.
• Experience with ISPs and treatment planning is expected.
• Knowledge of crisis intervention and trauma-informed care helpful.

Responsibilities

• Enter new clients into outpatient services with emphasis on homeless support programs.
• Perform intake interviews, diagnostic verification, and psychosocial assessments.
• Develop safety plans, treatment plans, and referrals for ongoing services.
• Provide counseling/psychotherapy as needed in non-traditional settings.
• Manage annual updates to assessments and plans; utilize EHR for documentation.
• Coordinate referrals and communicate with housing authorities as required.
