Job summary

Foundation 2 Crisis Services is seeking a crisis support professional to meet with clients at the Linn County Mental Health Access Center. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field with 30 hours of human service coursework.
• Experience working with individuals in crisis or similar settings preferred.
• Comfort using basic computer software and data entry skills.
• Excellent writing and grammar skills are required.
• Must pass all background checks.
• Must live in Iowa and complete trainings on time.

Responsibilities

• Meet clients at the Linn County Mental Health Access Center to provide support and crisis counseling.
• Complete required assessments with clients.
• Provide service coordination and assist in referrals for services at the Linn County Mental Health Access Center.
• Complete necessary documentation to ensure proper record keeping.
• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team at the Linn County Mental Health Access Center.
