Job summary

People Incorporated Mental Health Services in Saint Paul, MN seeks a paid mental health internship for students in related programs. The Access and Recovery Center provides wraparound services, ARMHS, outreach, and care coordination.

The 20-hour weekly schedule runs Monday–Friday 8:00am–12:00pm. Gain experience with intake documentation, client engagement, and connecting individuals to resources while learning recovery-oriented practices.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled or recent graduate in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, Sociology, Counseling, or Public Health.
• Interest in community-based mental health services and serving diverse populations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to learn and receive supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist in completing client intake documentation and progress notes following client interactions and activities.
• Complete program maintenance tasks such as donation management, resource organization, and activity material preparation.
• Conduct client engagement activities, connect individuals to community resources, and assist with benefits paperwork.
