Job summary

People Incorporated Mental Health Services seeks an ARC Outreach Practitioner I/II to engage clients, provide wraparound services, and support access coordination. This full-time role focuses on bridging initial contact to long-term care, with education, planning, and community referrals to meet client goals.

The position emphasizes person-centered support, group and individual interventions, and timely documentation in the EHR to ensure service continuity and safety.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in behavioral science or related field, or equivalent practicum experience.
  • Bachelor’s plus practicum/internship with adults or children served.
  • Minimum 2,000 hours delivering services to people with mental illness.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain therapeutic, person-centered relationships to support recovery.

ARC Outreach Practitioner I or IIAccess and Recovery Center (ARC) Outreach is a wraparound service integrating ARMHS, and/or Outreach services with clients. This position is responsible for providing client engagement and direct client services and interventions through ARC Outreach. Additionally, this position provides access coordination through a seamless progression for individuals entering services by guiding them through the intake process, supporting consistent engagement, and rapidly addressing barriers to access. This role is focused on acting as a bridge between initial contact and long-term care coordination. It also provides basic needs support and referrals in community settings, Community Support Programs/drop-in spaces, and places not meant for habitation. ORBachelor’s degree in a behavioral science or related field and proof of a practicum or internship that requires direct interaction with adults or children served and is focused on behavioral sciences or related fields; ORHas completed 30 semester hours or 45 quarter hours in behavioral science or a related field and:Has proof of a practicum or internship that requires direct interaction with adults or children served and is focused on behavioral sciences or related fields; ORHas 2,000 hours of experience in the delivery of services to people with mental illness; ORHas 2,000 hours of experience in the delivery of services to people with traumatic brain injury or developmental disabilities and completes training on mental illness, mental health de-escalation techniques, co-occurring mental illness and substance abuse, and psychotropic medications and side effects; ORIs fluent in the non-English language of the cultural group to which 50% of the practitioner’s clients; ORHas a high school diploma and 4,000 hours of experience in the delivery of services to people with Mental illness; ORTraumatic brain injury or developmental disabilities and completes training on mental illness, mental health de-escalation techniques, co-occurring mental illness and substance abuse, and psychotropic medications and side effects; ORHas a high school diploma and 2,000 hours of experience in the delivery of services to people with: Mental illness, emotional disturbance, or substance use disorder, and receives clinical supervision from a mental health professional once a week until 4,000 hours of experience is met; ORTraumatic brain injury or developmental disabilities and completes training on mental illness, mental health de-escalation techniques, co-occurring mental illness and substance abuse, and psychotropic medications and side effects and receives clinical supervision from a mental health professional once a week until 4,000 hours of supervised experience is met;
