Jobbeschreibung

You've Never Been Satisfied with \"Good Enough.\"

You didn't get into this to manage one piece of a project. You got into it to change how the world gets built.

At Accenture Construct, that's the job. You'll help deliver the data centers, power grids, rail networks, factories and public infrastructure that keep communities moving — smarter, safer and more sustainably.

You’ll work alongside people who think big and act bold: project managers, engineers, technologists and strategists who pair real-world delivery with AI. And you won't be handed a slice of it. We take on whole programs, from early strategy through construction and handover, and we stand behind how they land.

Because “good enough” builds the past. You're here to build what's next.

As Accenture continues to grow, you may see a variety of new career opportunities, and depending on the role and location you may be directed to apply through Accenture LLP or one of our other legal entities - Accenture Construct LLC or Accenture Construct Inc., with benefits varying by country and role, so please check with your recruiter for details.

THE WORK:
  • You’ll oversee day-to-day contract administration, ensuring compliance with contract terms, policies, and procedures. Development, coordination, and management of project scopes, ensuring alignment with project objectives, contract, and stakeholder requirements. Regularly review project scopes for changes, ensuring compliance with all contractual agreements and regulatory standards.
  • You’ll develop, manage, and track project budgets to ensure all financial goals are met. Review contractor proposals, change orders, pay applications, and ensure accurate financial reporting in accordance with contract terms and project milestones. Review and negotiate contractor change orders and claims, ensuring that all necessary documentation is accurate and timely.
  • You’ll establish and maintain project schedules, including milestone deadlines and completion dates. Ensure all team members are aligned with the project timeline, conducting regular reviews to mitigate delays and ensuring proper management of critical path tasks. Establish recovery schedules if needed.
  • You’ll have a complete understanding of all aspects of construction documentation, including bidding procedures, startup and closeout, contractual obligations, submittals, RFI’s, change management procedures, pay applications and project reporting.
  • You’ll effectively communicate project updates to stakeholders, including clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams. Prepare detailed reports on project progress, budget status, and any potential risks or delays.
  • You’ll develop and implement project management policies, procedures, and workflows to improve efficiency, standardize processes, and ensure alignment with organizational goals and compliance with regulations.
  • You’ll perform ongoing project risk analysis, identifying potential issues and developing mitigation strategies. Address risks related to cost, schedule, and quality, ensuring project objectives are met within the established framework.
  • You’ll provide leadership, training, and technical guidance to project staff, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring team members have the skills and resources necessary to fulfill project responsibilities.
  • You’ll provide technical direction and advice to design firms, consultants, and contractors, ensuring that project specifications, guidelines, and standards are adhered to during the development and construction phases.
  • You’ll manage the project closeout process, ensuring all project deliverables are completed and documented, generate and monitor punch list, final payments are processed, and any remaining issues are resolved. Ensure all final reports and records are submitted to stakeholders.

With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities. As an employer, we will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs.

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture and/or engineering
  • 10+ years of experience in overseeing and managing all phases of higher education institution programs/projects
  • 10+ years of experience in preconstruction, construction and closeout phases with the ability to problem solve, interpret information and draw conclusions to make decisions
  • The ability to stand, sit and walk throughout the day; bend, crawl, climb (ladders, stairs, hills, etc.) and reach overhead; ability to lift 40 pounds or more and to comply with personal protective equipment requirements and to endure extreme physical temperatures as well as experience loud noises and fumes on project sites
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
  • OSHA 30 Hour Safety Training highly desirable
  • Certified Construction Manager (CCM) and/or PMP certificate highly desirable
  • Strong written, verbal communication and computer skills. Experience with CM software, Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, Adobe, etc.

$140,000 - $150,000 a year

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU
  • The biggest builds going. Hyperscale data centers, grid and generation, transit and rail, chip fabs, mines, water. If it's complex and it matters, it's on our list.
  • You own the outcome. Not a workstream. Not a deliverable. Whether the program lands.
  • AI that shows up on site. Program control that predicts instead of records. You'll use it, and you'll help shape it.
  • Scale without the distance. More than 5,000 practitioners across the Americas, EMEA and APAC, on a team small enough that people know your name.
  • Serious investment in you. Leadership development, technical upskilling and certification support.
  • Work that outlasts you. People will use what you build for forty years without knowing your name. That's the point.
  • Recognition that means something in this industry. Accenture Construct is ranked #6 globally in ENR's 2026 Top 50 Program Management Firms and #4 in Building Design + Construction's Top 80 Construction Management Firms for 2026.
ABOUT ACCENTURE CONSTRUCT
  • Accenture Construct is Accenture's global capital projects business.
  • The data centers behind AI. The grid behind the energy transition. The rail, water and airports everything else runs on.
  • We plan them, engineer them, deliver them and hand them over — and unlike most of this market, we're on the hook for whether they land on time. More than 5,000 practitioners across the Americas, EMEA and APAC. One team that owns the whole thing.
