Job description

You've Never Been Satisfied with \"Good Enough.\"

You didn't get into this to manage one piece of a project. You got into it to change how the world gets built.

At Accenture Construct, that's the job. You'll help deliver the data centers, power grids, rail networks, factories and public infrastructure that keep communities moving — smarter, safer and more sustainably.

You'll work alongside people who think big and act bold: project managers, engineers, technologists and strategists who pair real-world delivery with AI. And you won't be handed a slice of it. We take on whole programs, from early strategy through construction and handover, and we stand behind how they land.

Because “good enough” builds the past. You're here to build what's next.

As Accenture continues to grow, you may see a variety of new career opportunities, and depending on the role and location you may be directed to apply through Accenture LLP or one of our other legal entities - Accenture Construct LLC or Accenture Construct Inc., with benefits varying by country and role, so please check with your recruiter for details.

THE WORK:
  • You'll provide on-the-ground commercial management support to ensure the client is financially and contractually protected across all data center projects.
  • You'll manage and report on all commercial issues regularly to maintain transparency and accountability.
  • You'll lead the Cost Trend Management (CTM) process by identifying scope changes, market shifts, and risks impacting project budgets.
  • You'll ensure EPC teams understand the baseline estimates, including scope, cost, and execution assumptions.
  • You'll set up cost reporting correctly at design kick-off, ensuring accurate budget breakdowns and CTM data integration.
  • You'll chair bi-weekly CTM meetings with key stakeholders, drive actionable outcomes, and document meeting minutes.
  • You'll update the CTM log to reflect cost changes, root causes, and review stages for accurate project tracking.
  • You'll participate in design reviews to track cost changes from concept to final design stages.
  • You'll capture and log client-driven changes for review and approval in the CTM process.
  • You'll support cost estimation, QA cost trend reports, and provide quarterly feedback to improve CTM tools and processes.
  • Flexible: The work location for this role will include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office or center.

With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities. As an employer, we will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Commercial Management, Quantity Surveying or related field AND 5+ years of related experience
  • 5+ years of experience managing the estimating or commercials on a major construction portfolio
  • 5+ years of experience of commercial management during pre-construction of major construction projects
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
  • Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) full membership or equivalent
  • Commercial knowledge of construction internationally
  • 5+ years of experience working on construction contracts used internationally
  • Excellent communication skills, experience collaborating with all other areas of the datacenter program with an ability to think strategically and build the trust of our construction partners needed to agree very large construction contracts and final accounts

$125,000 - $165,000 a year

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Illinois, Maine, Minnesota, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Ohio, Virginia or Washington as set forth below.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU
  • The biggest builds going. Hyperscale data centers, grid and generation, transit and rail, chip fabs, mines, water. If it's complex and it matters, it's on our list.
  • You own the outcome. Not a workstream. Not a deliverable. Whether the program lands.
  • AI that shows up on site. Program control that predicts instead of records. You'll use it, and you'll help shape it.
  • Scale without the distance. More than 5,000 practitioners across the Americas, EMEA and APAC, on a team small enough that people know your name.
  • Serious investment in you. Leadership development, technical upskilling and certification support.
  • Work that outlasts you. People will use what you build for forty years without knowing your name. That's the point.
  • Recognition that means something in this industry. Accenture Construct is ranked #6 globally in ENR's 2026 Top 50 Program Management Firms and #4 in Building Design + Construction's Top 80 Construction Management Firms for 2026.
ABOUT ACCENTURE CONSTRUCT
  • Accenture Construct is Accenture's global capital projects business.
  • The data centers behind AI. The grid behind the energy transition. The rail, water and airports everything else runs on.
  • We plan them, engineer them, deliver them and hand them over — and unlike most of this market, we're on the hook for whether they land on time. More than 5,000 practitioners across the Americas, EMEA and APAC. One team that owns the whole thing.
