Job description

You've Never Been Satisfied with "Good Enough."

You didn't get into this to manage one piece of a project. You got into it to change how the world gets built.

At Accenture Construct, that's the job. You'll help deliver the data centers, power grids, rail networks, factories and public infrastructure that keep communities moving — smarter, safer and more sustainably.

You'll work alongside people who think big and act bold: project managers, engineers, technologists and strategists who pair real-world delivery with AI. And you won't be handed a slice of it. We take on whole programs, from early strategy through construction and handover, and we stand behind how they land.

Because “good enough” builds the past. You're here to build what's next.

As Accenture continues to grow, you may see a variety of new career opportunities, and depending on the role and location you may be directed to apply through Accenture LLP or one of our other legal entities - Accenture Construct LLC or Accenture Construct Inc., with benefits varying by country and role, so please check with your recruiter for details.

THE WORK:
  • You'll manage procurement efforts for owner-furnished equipment on data center projects, ensuring compatibility with project design, timelines, and performance goals.
  • You'll maintain relationships with vendors, including OEMs, distributors, and specialty suppliers, for critical infrastructure like generators, chillers, UPS systems, PDUs, CRACs, switchgear, and high-voltage equipment.
  • You'll assist in tracking production schedules, shipping milestones, and on-site delivery coordination alongside construction managers and trade contractors.
  • You'll contribute to creating bid and leveling packages for OFCI equipment, emphasizing logistics, warranty terms, lead times, total cost, and commissioning requirements.
  • You'll participate in competitive sourcing for OFCI packages: support drafting RFIs and RFPs, handle vendor inquiries, review proposals, and compile summaries for stakeholder recommendations.
  • You'll work with internal teams to outline technical and performance requirements for OFCI packages; aid engineers in preparing documentation for accurate vendor scoping.
  • You'll collaborate with construction, design, and development teams to synchronize OFCI procurement schedules with fast-paced project timelines and construction phases.
  • You'll join scope review discussions and vendor negotiations, helping ensure contracts align with project demands for reliability, uptime, and delivery timelines.
  • You'll monitor and report on procurement progress across projects, covering commitments, cost impacts, change orders, and remaining exposure.
  • You'll stay updated on supply chain trends for power and cooling equipment, assisting in spotting potential risks to pricing or schedules and proposing solutions.
  • You'll aid in resolving equipment-related issues, such as delivery delays or commissioning challenges, and support escalation for vendor performance concerns.
  • You'll help prepare closeout documentation and facilitate warranty onboarding for OFCI assets to ensure a seamless handover to operations and facilities teams.
  • Onsite at client site: The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships.
  • With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities. As an employer, we will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs.
HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in procurement, construction management, or real estate development, including at least 2 years supporting OFCI procurement for data centers or similar mission-critical facilities
  • Familiarity with vendor coordination, equipment sourcing, and basic procurement processes for electrical and mechanical infrastructure in hyperscale or colocation settings
  • Basic knowledge of long-lead mission-critical components and their role in commissioning and integration
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
  • Ability to review technical specifications, design documents, vendor proposals, and procurement schedules
  • Organized, attentive to detail, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with internal teams, contractors, and OEMs
  • Experience supporting procurement schedules, reporting, and tracking tools for data center projects

$150,000 - $179,995 a year

We will accept applications until October 9, 2026

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU
  • The biggest builds going. Hyperscale data centers, grid and generation, transit and rail, chip fabs, mines, water. If it's complex and it matters, it's on our list.
  • You own the outcome. Not a workstream. Not a deliverable. Whether the program lands.
  • AI that shows up on site. Program control that predicts instead of records. You'll use it, and you'll help shape it.
  • Scale without the distance. More than 5,000 practitioners across the Americas, EMEA and APAC, on a team small enough that people know your name.
  • Serious investment in you. Leadership development, technical upskilling and certification support.
  • Work that outlasts you. People will use what you build for forty years without knowing your name. That's the point.
  • Recognition that means something in this industry. Accenture Construct is ranked #6 globally in ENR's 2026 Top 50 Program Management Firms and #4 in Building Design + Construction's Top 80 Construction Management Firms for 2026.
ABOUT ACCENTURE CONSTRUCT
  • Accenture Construct is Accenture's global capital projects business.
  • The data centers behind AI. The grid behind the energy transition. The rail, water and airports everything else runs on.
  • We plan them, engineer them, deliver them and hand them over — and unlike most of this market, we're on the hook for whether they land on time. More than 5,000 practitioners across the Americas, EMEA and APAC. One team that owns the whole thing.
