Job description

You've Never Been Satisfied with \"Good Enough.\"

You didn't get into this to manage one piece of a project. You got into it to change how the world gets built.

At Accenture Construct, that's the job. You'll help deliver the data centers, power grids, rail networks, factories and public infrastructure that keep communities moving — smarter, safer and more sustainably.

You'll work alongside people who think big and act bold: project managers, engineers, technologists and strategists who pair real-world delivery with AI. And you won't be handed a slice of it. We take on whole programs, from early strategy through construction and handover, and we stand behind how they land.

Because “good enough” builds the past. You're here to build what's next.

As Accenture continues to grow, you may see a variety of new career opportunities, and depending on the role and location you may be directed to apply through Accenture LLP or one of our other legal entities - Accenture Construct LLC or Accenture Construct Inc., with benefits varying by country and role, so please check with your recruiter for details.

  • You'll support the delivery of MEP systems across data center projects from design through commissioning.
  • You'll coordinate electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, and controls systems.
  • You'll review MEP drawings, specifications, submittals, and RFIs for project compliance.
  • You'll coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
  • You'll monitor MEP installations, progress, schedules, risks, and quality requirements.
  • You'll support critical systems, including switchgear, UPS, generators, HVAC, BMS, SCADA, and EPMS.
  • You'll participate in site inspections, troubleshooting, testing, startup, and commissioning activities.
  • You'll maintain QA/QC, commissioning, and technical documentation, including issue logs and punch lists.
  • You'll support technical changes, project closeout, as-built documentation, and turnover packages.
  • You'll ensure MEP systems meet applicable codes, safety standards, and industry best practices.
  • Onsite at client site: The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships

With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities. As an employer, we will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, MEP Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of MEP engineering or construction experience.
  • Strong knowledge of MEP systems, including electrical distribution, HVAC, and controls.
  • Experience reviewing drawings, specifications, submittals, and RFIs.
  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and vendors.
  • Knowledge of applicable MEP codes, quality, and safety standards.
  • Data center or other mission-critical project experience.
  • Knowledge of switchgear, UPS, generators, BMS, SCADA, and EPMS.
  • Experience with testing, commissioning, and integrated systems testing.
  • Experience with system performance monitoring and optimization.
  • Knowledge of ASHRAE, ISO, IEC, NEC, and NFPA standards.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, or similar MEP design and coordination tools.
  • Goal-oriented, collaborative, adaptable, and committed to continuous learning.
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU
  • The biggest builds going. Hyperscale data centers, grid and generation, transit and rail, chip fabs, mines, water. If it's complex and it matters, it's on our list.
  • You own the outcome. Not a workstream. Not a deliverable. Whether the program lands.
  • AI that shows up on site. Program control that predicts instead of records. You'll use it, and you'll help shape it.
  • Scale without the distance. More than 5,000 practitioners across the Americas, EMEA and APAC, on a team small enough that people know your name.
  • Serious investment in you. Leadership development, technical upskilling and certification support.
  • Work that outlasts you. People will use what you build for forty years without knowing your name. That's the point.
  • Recognition that means something in this industry. Accenture Construct is ranked #6 globally in ENR's 2026 Top 50 Program Management Firms and #4 in Building Design + Construction's Top 80 Construction Management Firms for 2026.
ABOUT ACCENTURE CONSTRUCT
  • Accenture Construct is Accenture's global capital projects business.
  • The data centers behind AI. The grid behind the energy transition. The rail, water and airports everything else runs on.
  • We plan them, engineer them, deliver them and hand them over — and unlike most of this market, we're on the hook for whether they land on time. More than 5,000 practitioners across the Americas, EMEA and APAC. One team that owns the whole thing.
