Job description

You’ve Never Been Satisfied with “Good Enough.”

You didn’t get into this to manage one piece of a project. You got into it to change how the world gets built.

At Accenture Construct, that’s the job. You’ll help deliver the data centers, power grids, rail networks, factories and public infrastructure that keep communities moving — smarter, safer and more sustainably.

You’ll work alongside people who think big and act bold: project managers, engineers, technologists and strategists who pair real-world delivery with AI. And you won’t be handed a slice of it. We take on whole programs, from early strategy through construction and handover, and we stand behind how they land.

THE WORK:
  • You’ll ensure the safety of client employees, agency personnel, contractor staff, and the traveling public at all times.

  • You’ll serve as the owner’s representative for all aspects of the project, overseeing project staff, daily field and office operations, and all supporting project functions.

  • You’ll support client executive leadership in the successful delivery and management of the project.

  • You’ll monitor project schedules and budgets, provide regular reporting to executive leadership, and manage project execution to maintain quality, cost, and schedule objectives.

  • You’ll assist in overseeing engineering, construction, quality, safety, environmental, third‑party, and community outreach activities throughout the project lifecycle.

  • You’ll represent the client with community stakeholders and public agencies, including cities, counties, WSDOT, utilities, and permitting authorities.

  • You’ll champion the project’s safety culture and provide leadership and oversight to achieve zero lost‑time incidents.

  • You’ll ensure compliance with all client contract requirements and project governance standards.

  • You’ll perform constructability reviews of design packages and provide recommendations to enhance project delivery, safety, and efficiency.

  • You’ll coordinate construction activities with transit operations to minimize service disruptions through advance planning, communication, and ongoing coordination during active construction.

  • You’ll oversee compliance with federal and state contract requirements on federally funded projects, including Buy America provisions, Davis‑Bacon and Washington State prevailing wage requirements, and DBE reporting obligations.

  • Onsite at client site : The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships.

  • With all our roles, there is some in‑person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities. As an employer, we will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business Administration, or another related field.
  • Ten years of experience in construction management on transit or public infrastructure projects, preferably with individual project values of $30 million or greater.
  • Three years of supervisory experience in the management of major construction contracts of similar size and scope.
  • Working knowledge of WSDOT and APWA Standard Specifications for Road, Bridge, and Municipal Construction.
  • Experience on FTA‑funded projects, including familiarity with federal contract compliance requirements.
  • Valid Washington State driver’s license, or ability to obtain one.
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
  • Experience with alternative delivery methods, particularly GC/CM and design‑build, is preferred, including experience supporting preconstruction and construction phases
  • Established relationships with Washington transit agencies and public works departments are a significant advantage
    • Relevant agencies include Sound Transit, Community Transit, King County Metro, Pierce Transit, Everett Transit, Kitsap Transit, Intercity Transit, Spokane Transit, C‑TRAN, and WSDOT
  • Experience with EV charging or transit electrification infrastructure
  • Contractor‑side experience (Project Manager, Superintendent, Project Engineer)
  • Competency in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint. Familiarity with a construction document management platform such as Procore, e‑Builder, Unifier, or similar.

$150,000 - $185,000 a year

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Illinois, Maine, Minnesota, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Ohio, Virginia or Washington as set forth below.

WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU
  • The biggest builds going. Hyperscale data centers, grid and generation, transit and rail, chip fabs, mines, water. If it’s complex and it matters, it’s on our list.
  • You own the outcome. Not a workstream. Not a deliverable. Whether the program lands.
  • AI that shows up on site. Program control that predicts instead of records. You’ll use it, and you’ll help shape it.
  • Scale without the distance. More than 5,000 practitioners across the Americas, EMEA and APAC, on a team small enough that people know your name.
  • Serious investment in you. Leadership development, technical upskilling and certification support.
  • Work that outlasts you. People will use what you build for forty years without knowing your name. That’s the point.
  • Recognition that means something in this industry. Accenture Construct is ranked #6 globally in ENR’s 2026 Top 50 Program Management Firms and #4 in Building Design + Construction’s Top 80 Construction Management Firms for 2026.
ABOUT ACCENTURE CONSTRUCT
  • Accenture Construct is Accenture’s global capital projects business.
  • The data centers behind AI. The grid behind the energy transition. The rail, water and airports everything else runs on.
  • We plan them, engineer them, deliver them and hand them over — and unlike most of this market, we’re on the hook for whether they land on time. More than 5,000 practitioners across the Americas, EMEA and APAC. One team that owns the whole thing.
