Avis Budget Group's Accelerate Internship Program in Parsippany, NJ invites you to kick off your technology career. This 10-week, in-office internship offers hands-on project exposure across rental stations, field operations, and corporate IT initiatives.

As an active MIS/CS/IT student graduating 2027, you will support planning, testing, and deployment of technology projects, document requirements, and help coordinate cross-functional teams.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced corporate environment, both independently and in a team.
• Must be able to commute to Parsippany, NJ; 40 hours in-office weekly.

Responsabilidades

• Support planning, testing, and implementation of technology projects across stations, field operations, and end users.
• Contribute to technology initiatives, including digital signage, identity management, and collaboration platforms.
• Assist with project coordination: track milestones, document requirements, and prepare status updates.
• Participate in hardware and software deployments at locations, including configuration, testing, and validation.
• Troubleshoot issues, document findings, and coordinate with teams for successful implementations.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, SOPs, and end-user training materials.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, security, and vendor partners.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and delivery of technology to stations and end users.

What you'll do:

• Support the planning, testing, and implementation of technology projects that support our rental stations, field operations, and corporate end users.
• Contribute to a diverse portfolio of technology initiatives, including automated gate exit systems, digital signage, identity management, and email and collaboration platforms.
• Assist with project coordination by tracking milestones, documenting requirements, preparing status updates, and following up on action items across multiple projects.
• Participate in hardware and software deployments at rental stations and corporate locations, including configuration, testing, and validation.
• Help troubleshoot technical issues, document findings, and coordinate with appropriate teams to support successful implementations.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, standard operating procedures, and end-user training materials.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including field operations, IT infrastructure, security, and external vendor partners.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance how technology is delivered to our stations and end users.

What we're looking for:

• Active enrollment at a college or university, graduating May or June 2027 - Rising Seniors
• Pursuing a degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• A strong interest in technology implementation, IT project coordination, and solving real-world business challenges
• The ability to adapt quickly, learn unfamiliar technologies, and manage multiple projects and priorities
• Foundational knowledge of computing concepts, operating systems, networking, and common productivity and collaboration tools
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders
• A detail-oriented mindset and strong organizational and time management skills
• The ability to work in a fast-paced corporate environment, both independently and as part of a team
• The ability to reliably commute to our Parsippany, NJ corporate headquarters. This is a full-time, in-office internship.
• The ability to work full-time, in person, for 40 hours a week

SKILLS YOU SHOULD BRING TO THE TABLE:

• Coursework or hands-on experience in information technology, computer science, information systems, networking, or related fields
• Familiarity with hardware and software troubleshooting, system configuration, and technical documentation
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Interest or exposure to identity and access management tools, such as Active Directory or Microsoft Entra ID, and email and collaboration platforms, such as Microsoft 365
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or Microsoft Project is a plus
• Basic scripting or automation experience using PowerShell, Python, or similar languages is a plus
• Experience with IoT, connected devices, digital signage, endpoint management, or technology deployments is a plus
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
• Ability to multitask, take initiative, and learn new technologies quickly
• A collaborative mindset and a desire to contribute positively to the organization

The hourly rate for this position is $35 an hour.
