Job summary

Avis Budget Group is seeking a Product Management Intern to support the optimization of features and journeys at the rental-entry point. You will work with Business, Engineering, UX Design, Analytics, and Operations to translate customer needs into clear product requirements.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in college, graduating in 2028, with curiosity about customer behavior, strong Excel skills, and exposure to agile practices.

Qualifications

• What we’re looking for: Active enrollment at a college or university, graduating May or June 2028.
• Pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing (digital marketing or e-commerce focus a plus), Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Product or Project Management, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills and curiosity about customer behavior with Excel; SQL or data analysis tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support Product Management in optimizing features and journeys at the entry point of the rental experience.
• Partner with Business, Engineering, UX Design, Analytics, and Operations teams to understand customer needs.
• Assist with writing user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
• Analyze customer behavior and performance data to understand why customers behave as they do.
• Evaluate how product changes affect customers and station operations, and help prioritize improvements.
