Job summary

AMERICAN SYSTEMS seeks an ACAS Administrator II to support and maintain the security posture of a federal environment. You will conduct vulnerability assessments with ACAS (Tenable Security Center) and Nessus, coordinate remediation, and assist with patching and system hardening per DoD guidelines.

You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with NIST RMF and DISA STIGs, maintain security documentation, and participate in incident response activities under guidance from senior

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required per policy.
• Active DoD Interim Secret or Secret clearance required.
• IAT Level III information security certification.
• Experience with ACAS Tenable Security Center and Nessus vulnerability tools.
• Familiarity with DISA STIGs, NIST, RMF security standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vulnerability scans using ACAS and Nessus to identify vulnerabilities and compliance gaps.
• Coordinate remediation efforts with cross-functional teams to ensure timely closure and regulatory compliance.
• Assist in applying security patches and system hardening per DoD and federal guidelines.
• Ensure availability and integrity of ACAS components; troubleshoot Security Center and related plugins.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, configurations, and procedures.
