Job summary

Abacus Technology seeks a Systems Administrator to support ACAS and vulnerability management for the Air Force Intranet Control (AFINC) III program at Maxwell AFB/Gunter Annex. This is a full-time on-site role requiring active DoD security clearance and hands-on ACAS expertise.

Responsibilities include conducting scans, generating reports, ensuring full asset coverage with high credentialed access, documenting network designs, and supporting the scanning environment and DoD-compliant practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as an ACAS Administrator on a military production network.
• HS diploma or GED.
• Must be Security+ certified.
• Must be Tenable.sc Specialist certified.
• Knowledge of ACAS products, including Security Center, Nessus Scanner, Passive Vulnerability Scanner (PVS), and applicable best practice guides.
• Able to install, configure, and deploy new scanners, scan groups and repositories using Security Center while following DoD guidance/policies.
• Excellent communication skills and analytical skills to troubleshoot issues.
• Must be a US citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct network-based and standalone ACAS scans to scan standalone systems.
• Configure and generate customized scan reports and provide scan data to Cybersecurity personnel.
• Ensure scheduled scans are covering 100% of intended assets and run successfully while meeting a 98% credentialed access rate for all devices included in the NAD.
• Document steps required to design the ACAS solution for each network to include IP address, Fully Qualified Domain Name, and physical location of each component.
• Perform vulnerability scans to include analysis of results, identification of false positives, exceptions, and subsequent POA&Ms and/or MFRs creation, monitoring and reporting to include POA&M status and contributions to Monthly and Quarterly reports.
• Provide scanning and operations support to include supporting the test/scanning environment, licensing, target asset refreshes, and credentials.
