Responsibilities

• Generates tutoring plans for each student detailing goals and enrichment activities for home and school.
• Develops and assists students with academic exercises and class activities, including small groups.
• Compiles, prepares, and organizes materials and classroom for instruction and learning activities.
• Reinforces knowledge and skills taught by the classroom teacher.
• Assists teacher with instruction and daily routines, skills, and concepts as needed.
• Provides instructional support and reinforcement to students needing tutoring.
• Utilizes effective instructional practices, behavior management strategies, assessment techniques.
• Collects and compiles statistical data for accountability and program development.
• Communicates and collaborates effectively with teacher.
