Job summary

Responsibilities

• Tutors meet with students in person or online to provide academic support in their major area.
• They provide guidance, demonstrate with examples, and model effective note-taking, study, and test-taking techniques.
• Tutors function as academic coaches by encouraging students and helping them learn how to access resources independently.
• They use the appointment scheduling tool TracCloud to enter post-session summary notes for professors.
• They sanitize their in-person work stations and schedule appointments in the absence of a front desk worker, and perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
