The Medical University of South Carolina's Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine in Charleston seeks an academically oriented, board-certified General Surgical Pathologist with subspecialty interests in GI/Liver, Head and Neck/Endocrine, Gynecologic, and/or Dermatopathology. The position is tenure-track with relocation assistance and strong support for clinical and translational research.

MD or equivalent with AP or AP/CP certification and South Carolina licensure eligibility are

Qualifikationen

• MD or equivalent with pathology specialty training and ABPath certification in Anatomic Pathology.
• Fellowship in Gynecologic, GI/Liver, or Head and Neck/Endocrine pathology preferred.
• Board certification in AP or AP/CP; SC licensure eligibility.
• 1–3 years post-fellowship experience preferred; current fellow or recent graduates considered.

Aufgaben

• Provide diagnostic reporting in general surgical pathology with subspecialty input.
• Collaborate with clinicians and researchers; participate in tumor boards and scholarly activities.
• Engage in clinical or translational research and teaching of students, residents and fellows.
