Job summary

Renaissance Academy is seeking tutors to support 4th–8th grade students in math, language arts, and civics education. Core duties include assisting with classwork, exam prep, and research projects.

Strong communication and relationship-building with students and staff are essential, along with a passion to motivate learners to reach their goals. Hours are 8:00 am–3:00 pm, Monday–Friday, with potential after-school shifts 2:30 pm–5:30 pm.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a degree-seeking program at UNM (or equivalent) and able to meet Work-Study requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with students and staff.
• Ability to help students with classwork, exams prep, and project research.

Responsibilities

• Tutor 4th–8th grade students in math, language arts, and civics.

Keyqualifications include strong communication skills, the ability to buildrelationships with students and staff, and the desire to motivate students toachieve their educational goals.

Minimum Qualifications
