Job summary

Red Clay Consolidated School District is seeking a Paraprofessional-Instructional/Personal Support at Warner Elementary School. This role assists in implementing the IEP for a student or small group under trained professional supervision.

Qualifications

• Two years of college coursework or higher preferred.
• Associate's degree or higher preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED plus ParaPro Assessment Test required.

Responsibilities

• Assist students in meeting their physical needs to benefit from the educational program.
• Data collection and implementation of Behavior Support Plans.
• Prepare the environment for daily activities by gathering materials and organizing spaces.
• Perform routine paperwork and record-keeping related to duties.
• Collaborate with teachers and administration to maintain positive school relationships.
• Demonstrate regular attendance and prompt reporting.
• Apply consistent behavior and discipline as written in IEPs.
• Participate in in-service workshops to improve competencies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
