The role offers mentorship by expert specialists, portfolio-building projects, and collaboration across departments. Office hours are 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday, in Strong Hall.

Qualifications

  • Availability to work over the summer.
  • Experience planning, directing, shooting and editing video-based work.
  • Self-starter who can take artistic direction and contribute original ideas in a team.
  • Intermediate experience with Adobe Creative Suite and/or similar editing programs.
  • Intermediate experience with Canva.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience with camera, sound and lighting equipment.
  • Participation in professional development within the Digital Media team.
  • Flexibility in adjusting deadlines during design process.
  • Ability to work in office and on location.

Responsibilities

  • Assist on videography projects across departments within Success Initiatives.
  • Plan, direct, shoot, and edit video-based work products.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Media team to develop portfolio-ready projects.
  • Maintain professionalism and meet established deadlines.
