Job summary

University of Kansas invites applications for the Academic Success Initiatives Videography Intern position on the Lawrence campus. You will join the Digital Media team, gain mentorship, and work on a range of videography projects across departments, creating portfolio-worthy work during the summer.

As an intern, you will plan, shoot, and edit video-based content, with guidance and opportunities to contribute original ideas in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Experience planning, directing, shooting and editing video-based work as evidenced by application materials.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Rush, Photoshop, Lightroom) evidenced by materials.
• Canva experience evidenced by materials.
• Ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines as evidenced by materials.
• Strong communication skills demonstrated in application materials.

Responsibilities

• Plan, shoot and edit video-based work for diverse departments within Success Initiatives.
• Collaborate with team to develop portfolio-building projects for digital media needs.
• Contribute original ideas while following artistic direction and mentorship from the Digital Media team.
