Job summary

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools is seeking a part-time Tutor to support an elementary or secondary learning environment. Under supervision, you will implement a supplemental instructional program and help students meet academic goals on CMS premises.

You will work under the principal and report to the designated supervisor, delivering lesson plans, monitoring progress, and maintaining a safe learning environment in a part-time role totaling nine months per year.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all state, federal, and local laws, policies, and procedures.
• Deliver educational lesson plans and instructional materials that facilitate active learning.
