Job summary

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools seeks a Tutor to provide instructional support in an elementary/secondary setting under general supervision. The position is flat-rate hourly, part-time, 9 months, located at the David Cox Road Elementary campus in Charlotte, NC.

Responsibilities include delivering lesson plans, monitoring student progress, and maintaining a safe learning environment per Board policies and school leadership direction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum educational requirements: Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all state, federal, and local laws, policies, and procedures
• Deliver educational lesson plans and instructional materials that facilitate active learning
• Monitor and evaluate student progress to address individual needs
• Provide supervision of students for the purpose of providing a safe and positive learning environment
• Perform related duties as assigned
