Job summary

Harcum College is seeking an Academic Coach to join the Student Support Services team in Bryn Mawr, PA. The Academic Coach helps vulnerable students build self‑efficacy by improving time management, organization, study and test‑taking skills, and motivation, enabling them to stay on track toward degree completion.

The role includes providing coaching, assisting with academic and career goal planning, connecting students to campus resources, and reporting on progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 1–3 years’ experience in a related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
• Familiarity with Canvas or other LMS and Zoom is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide coaching services to support retention and success of SSS students.
• Assist in planning academic and career goals for students.
• Offer psychosocial support and financial literacy resources when applicable.
• Refer students to appropriate campus departments and services.
• Maintain documentation and report data on a regular basis.
