Job summary

Tucson Unified School District is seeking a Student Success Coach to advocate for an assigned group of students and support them toward academic success and promotion. The role applies culturally responsive practices and EBAS to promote positive learning experiences.

The coach will focus on leveraging student assets, assisting with goal setting, follow-up, and achieving targets while collaborating with students, families and staff within the African American Student Services program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Services, Counseling, or related field.
• Minimum two years of experience with diverse students.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Synergy and Clarity.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for an assigned group of students to support academic success.
• Implement EBAS-based accountability to promote positive learning experiences.
• Help with goal setting, follow-up and attainment of targets.
