Job summary

The University of Georgia is seeking an Academic Services Intern for an 11-month appointment from July 2026 to May 2027 to support UGAAA tutoring and academic services. This role involves assisting the Academic Services Team with daily operations and performing related administrative tasks.

As part of the internship, you will assist the Associate Director of Academic Services with executive tasks and oversee the Rankin Support Staff Council, while taking on other duties as assigned to support

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or progress toward a Master’s degree in Education, Higher Education, Psychology, Sport Management, or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree is required.

Position Summary

University of Georgia, a Division I member of the Southern Conference, is currently seeking applications for an Academic Services Intern. This is an 11‑month appointment that begins in July 2026 and ends in May 2027.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist the Academic Services Team with daily operations and related administrative tasks of the UGAAA tutoring program – 50 %
• Assist the Associate Director of Academic Services with executive tasks – 30 %
• Oversee the Rankin Support Staff Council – 10 %
• Other duties as assigned – 10 %

Education & Experience

• Master’s degree or progress toward a Master’s degree preferably in Education, Higher Education, Psychology, Sport Management, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree is required.

Skills, Knowledge & Competencies

• Experience in collegiate athletics academic support, higher education, teaching, or a related field.
• Familiarity with NCAA rules and regulations.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Physical Demands

Stand, walk, reach with hands and arms; occasionally sit and talk or hear; lift and/or move up to 20 pounds; driving may be required to perform job duties.
