Qualifications

• ALA-accredited Master's Degree in Library Science.
• Experience in collection development and reference services.
• Experience in an academic/school environment.
• Strong customer focus and communication skills.
• Proficiency with information technologies and library applications.
• Ability to work independently and collegially in a changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Regularly review selection resources to identify additions to the collection.
• Develop relationships with faculty, staff, and students to stay current with curriculum needs.
• Coordinate input of orders in an online system.
• Provide proactive reference and research assistance.
• Create and update online research guides and handouts.
• Maintain library content on the website and assist in daily operations.
