Job summary

The University of Arizona Department of Radiation Oncology is seeking a Radiation Oncologist to join a team of six physicians and one APP. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a cutting-edge, multidisciplinary clinical and research environment at Banner University Medical Group.

Be/BC in Radiation Oncology with Arizona license eligibility is required; teaching, mentoring residents and medical students, and pursuing clinical research are encouraged.

Qualifications

• BE/BC in Radiation Oncology required or board-eligible.
• Desire for clinical research and academic opportunities.
• Interest in teaching and mentoring Residents and Medical Students.

Responsibilities

• Manage 10–15 patients on active treatment daily and 180–200 new consultations per year.
• Participate in academic appointments and contribute to clinical research.
• Teach and mentor residents and medical students.
• Support subspecialization needs based on department requirements.
