Job summary

Banner University Medical Group is seeking an Academic Radiation Oncology Physician to join the University of Arizona Cancer Center. The role involves joining a six-physician team with opportunities for subspecialization and academic appointment, emphasizing multidisciplinary care and translational research.

The selected candidate will participate in teaching residents and students, contribute to clinical trials, and maintain a balanced schedule with four clinic days and one admin day per week.

Qualifications

• Board-certified/eligible in Radiation Oncology.
• Interest in academic opportunities and clinical research.
• Desire to teach and mentor residents and medical students.

Responsibilities

• Manage 10–15 patients on active treatment daily.
• Approximately 180–200 new consultations per year.
• Contribute to subspecialization areas as department needs (Sarcomas, GI, Lymphomas).
