Job summary

The University of Arizona Department of Radiation Oncology is seeking a Radiation Oncologist to join a team of six physicians and one APP in a cutting-edge, multidisciplinary clinical and research environment.

The qualified candidate will have an academic appointment with the University of Arizona and will contribute to teaching, clinical research, and patient care as part of a comprehensive cancer program.

Qualifications

• BE/BC in Radiation Oncology.
• Ability to obtain an Arizona Medical License.
• Desire for clinical research and exploring further academic opportunities.
• Interest in teaching and mentoring Residents and Medical Students.
• Upcoming new graduates and experienced Physicians encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Full-Time, Monday - Friday | 4 Clinic Days, 1 Admin Day.
• Call - 1 shift per week, 1 weekend shift every 2 months.
• Anticipated to manage 10-15 patients on active treatment daily and new consultations/year.
• Opportunity to subspecialize, dependent on current department needs (Sarcomas, GI, Lymphomas).
