Albany Medical Center in Albany Med Health System seeks a board-certified or board-eligible Pediatric Infectious Disease physician to join The Bernard & Millie Duker Children's Hospital faculty. This academic division offers inpatient consultations and outpatient HIV/PrEP care, with teaching responsibilities for students and residents.

Qualifications

• MD or DO or equivalent degree.
• Completion of an accredited Pediatric Infectious Diseases fellowship program.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatric Infectious Diseases.
• Eligible for New York State medical license.
• Commitment to clinical excellence, education, and academic medicine.
• Interest in research, program development, advocacy, or stewardship initiatives preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient pediatric infectious disease consultation services
• Deliver outpatient Infectious Disease and HIV/PrEP clinical care
• Participate in shared night and weekend home call coverage
• Teach and supervise medical students, residents, and other learners
• Mentor trainees in clinical research and scholarly activities
• Contribute to antimicrobial stewardship, infection prevention, advocacy, and program development initiatives
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the Children's Hospital

Education

MD or DO or equivalent degree

Completion of an accredited Pediatric Infectious Diseases fellowship program

Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatric Infectious Diseases

Eligible for New York State medical license
