Albany Medical Center | Albany Med Health System is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Pediatric Infectious Disease physician to join our academic division and faculty at the Bernard & Millie Duker Children’s Hospital in Albany, NY.

The role offers an appointment at Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level with opportunities in inpatient consults, outpatient HIV/PrEP care, teaching, and clinical research. Collaborative, teaching-focused environment expected.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatric Infectious Diseases.
• Completed accredited Pediatric Infectious Diseases fellowship program.
• Eligible for New York State medical license.
• Commitment to clinical excellence, education, and academic medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient pediatric infectious disease consultation services.
• Deliver outpatient Infectious Disease and HIV/PrEP clinical care.
• Participate in shared night and weekend home call coverage.
• Teach and supervise medical students, residents, and other learners.
• Mentor trainees in clinical research and scholarly activities.
• Contribute to antimicrobial stewardship, infection prevention, advocacy, and program development initiatives.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the Children's Hospital.
