Job summary

Albany Medical College's Department of Anesthesiology seeks fellowship-trained Pediatric Anesthesiologists to join our team of six faculty in the Capital Region's only academic medical center. Providers deliver perioperative care for general pediatrics, orthopedics, ENT, urology, plastics, and select neonatal cases with opportunities to participate in research and education across the department.

Qualifications

• Fellowship in Pediatric Anesthesiology completed or in progress.
• Board-eligibility in anesthesiology or ABA-recognized equivalent.
• Eligible for New York State medical licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care for infants, children, and adolescents in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Deliver didactic and hands-on instruction for residents, medical students, and student nurse anesthetists.
• Participate in or initiate clinical research projects; scholarly activity is supported and encouraged.
