Job summary

Albany Medical College, Department of Anesthesiology, seeks fellowship-trained Pediatric Anesthesiologists at all ranks to join our team in the Capital Region's only academic medical center.

We provide perioperative care for a broad range of pediatric surgeries, including general pediatric surgery, orthopedics, ENT, urology, plastics, and select neonatal cases, with opportunities outside the OR.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required; NY licensure eligibility.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Anesthesiology residency.
• Fellowship training in Pediatric Anesthesiology required.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Care - Provide safe, high-quality anesthesia for infants, children and adolescents.
• Education - Teach residents, medical students and student nurse anesthetists.
• Research - Contribute to clinical research and scholarly activity.
• Collaboration - Work with surgeons and perioperative team to optimize outcomes.
• Mentorship - Guide trainees and junior faculty in professional growth.
