Job summary

Albany Medical College is seeking fellowship-trained Pediatric Anesthesiologists to join our academically focused team in the Capital Region.

We offer opportunities for perioperative care across multiple specialties, with involvement in education, research and mentorship. A comprehensive compensation package includes a $45,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance, plus overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree or equivalent and board eligibility.
• Completion of ACGME-accredited Anesthesiology residency.
• Fellowship training in Pediatric Anesthesiology.
• Eligible for New York State medical licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care for infants, children, and adolescents in various settings.
• Deliver didactic and hands-on instruction for residents, medical students, and student nurse anesthetists.
• Participate in or initiate clinical research projects and scholarly activity.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses and perioperative team to optimize outcomes.
• Mentor and support trainees and junior faculty in professional growth.
