Job summary

CHOR at VCU is seeking a non-tenure eligible physician to join the Division of Pediatric Allergy and Immunology at the Children’s Hospital of Richmond at Virginia Commonwealth University. The role includes clinical care for inpatients and outpatients, teaching medical students and trainees, and participation in translational and outcomes research.

The division collaborates with the Department of Pediatrics and offers an active ACGME approved fellowship program, with travel to community clinics

Qualifications

• Board certified in Pediatrics or Internal Medicine.
• Board certified or board eligible in Allergy and Immunology.
• Experience with clinical care of patients.
• Experience in an academic medical center.
• Commitment to respect, professionalism and civility with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Teach medical students, residents, chief residents and fellows.
• Participate in clinical, translational and outcomes research.
• Serve on departmental or School of Medicine committees and engage in scholarly activities.
• Provide pediatric allergy and immunology clinical care for inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Take on administrative duties related to the role.
