Job summary

CHOR at VCU is recruiting a non-tenure eligible physician to participate in clinical, teaching and research activities within the Division of Pediatric Allergy and Immunology at the Children’s Hospital of Richmond at Virginia Commonwealth University.

The position involves caring for patients in downtown Richmond, collaboration with an active fellowship program, and travel to community clinics as needed. A strong academic background and commitment to diversity are essential.

Qualifications

• Board certified in Pediatrics or Internal Medicine.
• Board certified or board eligible in Allergy and Immunology.
• Experience with clinical care of patients.
• Experience in an academic medical center.
• Commitment to fostering respect, professionalism and civility among diverse faculty, staff and students.

Responsibilities

• Teach medical students, residents, chief residents and fellows when applicable.
• Participate in clinical, translational and outcomes research.
• Serve on departmental or School of Medicine committees and engage in professional activities.
• Provide pediatric allergy and immunology clinical care for inpatients and outpatients.
• Take on administrative duties associated with this role.
