Job summary

WVU Medicine seeks a Palliative Care Physician (Assistant/Associate/Professor) to practice in Morgantown, WV, with potential travel to additional sites in WV, MD, and PA. Responsibilities include patient care and teaching of students, residents, and fellows in a comprehensive palliative program.

The successful candidate will join the Section of Geriatrics, Palliative Medicine and Hospice and contribute to inpatient and outpatient services, with a robust academic mission and affiliation with WVU

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree and eligibility for state medical license.
• Residency in internal medicine or family medicine and fellowship in palliative care by time of appointment.
• Board certification/eligibility in Palliative Medicine required by appointment.

Responsibilities

• Practice in the areas of Palliative Care medicine and provide excellent patient care.
• Teach medical students, residents, and fellows as part of the duties.
