Job summary

WVU Medicine in Morgantown, WV seeks a Palliative Care Physician (Assistant/Associate/Professor) to join the Department of Medicine and provide patient-centered care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The successful candidate will teach medical students, residents, and fellows, participate in program development, and may travel to additional worksites in WV, MD, and PA as needed.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree and eligibility for state medical license.
• Residency in internal medicine or family medicine with fellowship in palliative care.
• Board certification or eligibility in Palliative Medicine required by appointment.

Responsibilities

• Provide in inpatient and outpatient palliative care services.
• Teach medical students, residents and fellows.
• Travel to additional worksites in WV/MD/PA as needed.
