Healthcare United in Connecticut is seeking a Board Certified Internal Medicine physician to lead a 100% outpatient, academic clinic as Medical Director in the Trumbull area. This full-time role focuses on faculty development, resident education, and clinical quality in an outpatient teaching setting.

The successful candidate will oversee ambulatory curriculum, lead scholarly work, and partner with clinical and educational leaders in a community health environment. H1Bs accepted.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with Board Certification in Internal Medicine.
• At least five years of academic experience.
• Connecticut medical license eligibility and eligibility for a faculty appointment.
• Current CV required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee ambulatory curriculum, resident evaluation, faculty activities, and Primary Care assignments.
• Teach learners and support scholarly work and quality improvement.
• Partner with clinical and educational leaders in a community health setting.
