Job summary

UMass Memorial Medical Group is seeking an Optometrist to join our growing team in Worcester, MA. This full-time on-site role offers exceptional clinical autonomy, a diverse patient population and a strong referral base within a prestigious academic health system.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) from an accredited program.
• Eligible for Massachusetts license.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in optometry.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive eye exams and emergency follow-up care.
• Co-manage glaucoma and provide vision rehabilitation services.
• Offer same-day service care and prescribe eyeglasses or contact lenses as needed.
• Collaborate with ophthalmology team within an academic environment.
• Utilize EPIC EMR to document and coordinate patient care.
