Job summary

UMass Memorial Health seeks an Optometrist to join our growing Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences team in Massachusetts. You will provide comprehensive eye exams, glaucoma co-management, and vision rehabilitation, with opportunities for teaching in a collaborative academic setting.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) from an accredited program.
• Massachusetts license must be active or in process.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in optometry.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive eye exams, emergency follow up care, glaucoma co-management, vision rehabilitation services, and same day service care.
• Prescribe eyeglasses or contact lenses as needed.
• Outpatient-focused role with a diverse patient population and strong referral base.
• Collaborative academic environment with multiple ODs and ophthalmologists.
