Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Anesthesiology residency.
• Fellowship training in Obstetric Anesthesiology required.
• Eligible for New York State medical licensure.
• Board-eligible or board-certified by the ABA or foreign equivalent recognized by the ABAS.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care for obstetric patients in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Deliver didactic and hands-on instruction for residents and students.
• Participate in or initiate clinical research projects; scholarly activity is supported.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, OB residents, L&D nurses, and perioperative team members to optimize outcomes.
• Mentor trainees and junior faculty in professional and academic growth.
