Job summary

Ascension St. Vincent OB/GYN Residency Program is seeking a full-time Board Certified OB/GYN Physician Faculty Member.

This 1.0 FTE position is split with 0.8 FTE clinic work and resident supervision in ambulatory settings, plus some weekday GYN hospital service, and 0.2 FTE OB Hospitalist duties. You will work with OB/GYN residents and learners at varying levels, contributing to education and patient care in a mission-driven environment that values diverse populations and collaboration across

Qualifications

• MD or DO required
• Board Certification in OB/GYN preferred
• Indiana Medical Licensing Board licensure required before hire/date

Responsibilities

• Provide medical services in an assigned area.
• Evaluate and treat patients with appropriate medical diagnostics and treatments; coordinate discharge planning.
• Improve cost efficiency and quality of care; participate in care improvement efforts.
• Accept referrals; serve as admitting, attending, and/or consulting physician for hospitalized patients.
• Participate in academic programs and research as requested.
• Ensure documentation meets insurance requirements and appeal denials when needed.
• Participate in inpatient and outpatient consultation for specialty and may include on-call schedules.
