Ascension St. Vincent OB/GYN Residency Program in Indiana is seeking a full-time Board Certified OB/GYN Physician Faculty Member to join our academic department.

This 1.0 FTE role splits 0.8 FTE ambulatory clinic and resident supervision with some weekday hospital service; 0.2 FTE OB Hospitalist coverage. You will teach and supervise OB/GYN residents and collaborate with Family Medicine residents, APPs and students in a supportive, mission-driven environment.

Competenze

• MD or DO degree required.
• Indiana Medical Licensing Board licensure required.
• Advanced Life Support preferred (AHA/ARC)

Mansioni

• Provide medical services to patients in an assigned area.
• Evaluate and treat patients with appropriate diagnostic and treatment skills; coordinate discharge planning.
• Participate in efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care.
• Accept referrals and act as admitting/attending/consulting physician as needed.
• Participate in academic programs (education and research).
• Provide documentation meeting insurance requirements and appeal denials as needed.
• Participate in inpatient and outpatient consultation; on-call schedules.
