Job summary

Ascension St. Vincent OB/GYN Residency Program seeks a FULL TIME Board Certified OB/GYN Physician Faculty Member.

This is a 1.0 FTE role: 0.8 FTE focuses on PCC OB/GYN clinic work and resident supervision in ambulatory settings, with some weekday GYN hospital service; 0.2 FTE provides OB Hospitalist coverage. You will work at our outpatient clinic, joining OB/GYN residents and learners across levels, including Family Medicine residents, APPs, and medical students.

Qualifications

• MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board prior to hire date.
• Advanced Life Support preferred (AHA or Red Cross accepted).

Responsibilities

• Provide medical services to patients in an assigned area.
• Evaluate and treat patients with diagnostic and treatment skills; coordinate discharge planning.
• Participate in academic programs (e.g., medical education and research) as requested.
• Accept patient referrals and act as admitting/attending/consulting physician as needed.
• Provide documentation that meets insurance requirements; appeal denials in a timely manner.
• Participate in inpatient and outpatient consultation; on-call schedules.
