Job summary

Summa Health in Akron, Ohio is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible OB/GYN to join the Summa Health Medical Group, a large multi-specialty practice with extensive maternity services. The selected candidate will be part of a team that delivered 5,000+ babies in 2025 and will teach residents in a center with Level III NICU care on campus.

Qualifications

• Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Unrestricted Ohio licensure or willingness to obtain.
• Willingness to work in Akron and surrounding communities.
• Comfortable teaching and working with residents.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Commitment to quality care in a patient-centered, team-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Teach residents and collaborate with a large team of providers.
• Deliver high-quality obstetric and gynecologic care within the Summa Health system.
• Participate in academic activities and contribute to clinical excellence.
