Job summary

Summa Health in Akron, Ohio is seeking a board certified/eligible OB/GYN to join our team, as part of Summa Health Medical Group. The system delivered 5000+ deliveries in 2025 and features a state-of-the-art Women’s Center on the Akron Campus.

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Unrestricted Ohio Licensure or willingness to obtain.
• Willingness to work in Akron and surrounding communities.
• Must be comfortable teaching and working with residents.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Commitment to quality care in a patient-centered, team-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Teach and supervise residents in obstetrics and gynecology.
• Provide comprehensive OB/GYN patient care in a high-volume setting.
• Collaborate with Summa Health Medical Group colleagues.
