Job summary

Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, a LifeBridge Health member, seeks a Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN Hospitalist (Laborist) to join our academic Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. This inpatient role focuses on labor and delivery, obstetric emergencies, and resident education in a respected teaching environment.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree and board eligibility or certification in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Eligible for Maryland medical licensure and academic medicine interest.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient coverage for Labor & Delivery, OB Triage, and Mother/Baby.
• Evaluate and manage obstetric patients requiring hospitalization.
• Consult for the Emergency Department and inpatient services.
• Perform vaginal deliveries, operative vaginal deliveries, and Cesarean deliveries.
• Teach and supervise OB/GYN residents and medical students.
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
