Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, part of LifeBridge Health, seeks a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible OB/GYN Hospitalist (Laborist) to join our academic Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. The role focuses on inpatient obstetrics, labor and delivery, emergency gynecology, and resident education with a faculty appointment at George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences.

Qualifications

• MD or DO required.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Eligible for Maryland medical licensure.
• Passion for academic medicine, resident education, and collaborative patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient coverage for Labor & Delivery, OB Triage, and Mother/Baby.
• Evaluate and manage obstetric patients requiring hospitalization.
• Consult for the Emergency Department and inpatient services.
• Evaluate and treat gynecologic emergencies including miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, and early pregnancy complications.
• Manage both low-risk and high-risk labor patients; perform vaginal, operative vaginal, cesarean deliveries and emergency obstetric procedures.
• Work 12-hour or 24-hour scheduled shifts.
• Teach and supervise OB/GYN residents and medical students.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives focused on patient safety and physician satisfaction.
