Job summary

UC Davis Health is recruiting three full-time Academic Generalist Obstetrician/Gynecologists in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Appointments at Assistant or Associate Health Sciences Professor level will be offered, with salary based on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities include clinical care in general OB/GYN, teaching and mentorship of students and residents, and participation in scholarly activities within a large academic division.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Completed Obstetrics & Gynecology residency (or final year).
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Eligible for California medical licensure.
• Experience in general obstetrics and gynecology.
• Ability to work cooperatively and collegially in an academic environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive clinical care in general obstetrics and gynecology as part of the UWH group.
• Outpatient clinics and daytime hospitalist coverage in OB/GYN.
• Obstetrical in-house night call and back-up home call.
• At-home gynecology call in rotation with subspecialties.
• Supervisor and teaching of medical students and residents.
• Engage in curriculum development, scholarly projects, and university service.
